Its that time of
the year again for our Weston Photography Workshops to begin. Kim
has been remodeling his studio and will have a fine show of work
up in the studio for all to enjoy. See our broad list of workshops
from Fine Art Nude Workshops to Large Format and from Pixels to
Platinum! Hope you can join us for another exciting year!
March Print of
Month
The March Print of Month "Denver Nude # 3" is a beautiful 5x7
photograph. Kim used his Mamiya 67 that he inherited from his
father Cole Weston. Kim has really enjoyed using this format. All
of his special edition photographs are taken with this camera. The
2007 Print of the Month images are also a special edition offer.
This 5x7 size will only be printed as single photographs
throughout the 2007. After 2007 this size will only be available
as a complete portfolio.

Workshops
We have a couple of spaces open for our
Studio Nude I Workshop on March 31 & April 1, 2007.
We have 2 wonderful models, one is brand new to our workshops the
other has worked with us before.

books again. With things changing at Hospitalfield this is the

Website Update
I have been slowly but steadily adding images to our website. I
have all of the
2000-2006 Workshop photos up.
Now I am working on the
Workshop Participants'
Pages. I just completed the 2004 year. So I have 2005 &
2006 to go. Don't worry if you have been waiting all last year to
see your images get posted, I promise they will be up soon. I hope
to complete it before our first workshop begins. It has been very
rewarding looking back and seeing all of the wonderful images that
have been made at our workshops. If you have any from the year
2004 let me know and I will post them too.
Weston Photography Scholarship
The New
Weston Photography Education Association's (Scholarship) Website
is up! See all of the previous winners from 2004, 2005 & 2006! The
scholarship contest deadline is May 4, 2007. So if you know any
Monterey County High School or College students be sure to let
them know. Take a look at the site and see the stupendous work
that is coming out of our locals schools. The kids have learned a
tremendous amount in these past few years. Congratulations to
them!
Don't forget our annual Art Auction of photographs donated by
world renowned photographers from near and far. This auction
raises moneys for the Scholarship fund. This year it will be June
11 - 16, 2007. Save that date!

So you see we have been very busy with updating our website,
scheduling our workshops and creating the new Weston Photography
Education Association's site.
It has been fun.
