Charming, private, and steps from the Pacific — but this studio offers something no other Carmel rental can: a month to actually slow down, inside the same walls where Edward Weston lived and worked for over twenty years.

It's fully furnished for real living, not just visiting — a queen bed, private bathroom, and full kitchen with everything you need, from refrigerator to coffee maker. Wireless internet is available, since cell service out here can be spotty (part of the charm of getting away).

On Highway 1, between the charm of Carmel-by-the-Sea and the wild cliffs of Big Sur — close to everything, but quiet enough to disappear for a while.
