B&H Photo’s OPTIC conference is traveling west to explore one of the world’s premier photo destinations: Monterey, California. OPTIC West will feature two days of presentations, a trade expo, photo critiques and contests, and a whale watching mini photo expedition. Keynote speaker, Frans Lanting, will present his latest book, Bay of Life, featuring Monterey’s unique wildlife and biodiversity. Adding to the top-tier lineup is Scott Kelby, a well-known leader in outdoor photography. OPTIC West is for lovers of the wildlife, travel and landscape genres. For those who can’t join OPTIC West at the Monterey Conference Center, live streaming options will be available.
