Weston Photography's 2021 Print of the Month Portfolio!
The Print of the Month Club was started by Edward Weston to help him earn steady income to support his photographic career. Many of his most famous and iconic images were made close to home at his beloved Point Lobos. The Weston’s have upheld the Print of the Month portfolio tradition since 2001. This year is special as all the images in the portfolio will consist of photographs of Edward’s favorite playground - The Powerful Point Lobos. Browse through 6 images of Kim’s and 6 images of Zach’s and take a journey through the vision of these two artists as they see their sacred ground.

“Our Camera’s on Point Lobos”
All of the images in the 2021 Print of the Month portfolio are handmade silver gelatin photographs made on Wildcat Hill by Kim and Zach Weston. The Weston’s still practice the traditional film process as their ancestors did before them. When looking to collect photographs and build upon your own collection, looking for images that will stand the test of time is essential. High quality silver gelatin prints are some of the most archival photographs on the market that will truly last a lifetime. Not only will they last, but the richness of the tones has yet to be duplicated in any other process. You truly feel and see the difference when you acquire a true silver gelatin photograph made in the darkroom. The act of creating with your hands is losing steam and the Westons are happy to continue their process of hand crafted silver gelatin photography and uphold the traditional way.
