Inspiration
Inspiration is all around us, but it is sometimes hard to uncover it. At a workshop you are more susceptible to that inspiration as it becomes apparent and floats to the surface. of your conscious. With the new environment around you, you have to adapt to your surroundings and pull out the inspiration from what you see. Before attending a workshop you might not even be aware of the inspiration that lay dormant in your brain and it is not until you see the studio on Wildcat Hill that something is triggered for you. That trigger then unleashes a flood of creative thoughts and ideas that you take ahold of and work through. Group workshops can really help unlock and create that desired inspiration that all of us are continuously looking for.
Become a Better Photographer
You can’t help but become a better photographer after taking a workshop. Not only are you getting more time behind the camera, but you are actively working with a model and running new thoughts and ideas through your head in the process. Creating in a space that is different than your normal scene forces you to think outside the box and come up with new ideas to work on. You continue to build upon your artistic portfolio and are adding ideas to your memory bank. Something you are influenced by at one workshop can re-surface as a means of inspiration in a workshop years down the road. At our workshops, we have participants from all over the world attend which adds an extra layer of value into the experience. The group is like minded with everyone sharing similar passions and goals in life while also coming from varying backgrounds. Learning about others, and collaborating on new photography can be very uplifting and inspiring.
