New 4 Day Workshop! With 2 instructors Kim Weston & Randy Efros! May 12-15, 2011
Come join us at the San Miguel Mission for a truly memorable photographic experience. Founded in 1797, Mission San Miguel is a National Historical Landmark that has been an important part of Central Coast history for over 200 years. Come experience the rich history of Mission San Miguel.
Father Fermin Francisco de Lasuén founded Mission San Miguel on July 25, 1797. Almost two years earlier, the site was selected to close the gap between Mission San Antonio and Mission San Luis Obispo. It was a beautiful spot on the Salinas River called Vahca by the natives, Las Pozas by the Spaniards or “The Wells”.
Special access to areas normally restricted to public.
During the workshop we will have access to roam freely in areas the mission normally restricts to the public.
Visually Stimulating!
There is so much to see and photograph on and around the grounds.
