The Details: Our shooting locations are the Anahata Springs Resort, a serene mineral water spa in the middle of the beautiful Desert Hot Springs and Joshua Tree National Park, a fantastic desert location with jumbo rocks and other-worldly vistas. We will practice figure modeling and photography amidst the mid-century designs of this spa retreat, in and around the resort, by the pool, and then we will venture out to photograph within the natural wonders of the surrounding desert area.

Every photographer will find the location and instruction informative and inspirational. You’ll have more than enough time to shoot creatively, adjust your exposure and direct the posing. Participants will learn to work as a team in photography, camera-handling techniques, control of natural light, working with a model and how to create photos with emotional effect. Each evening will feature lecture, discussion and critique.
