Inspired by Degas - Online Exclusive Show on Artsy
For the past 14 years, Kim has been applying artist quality oil paints to his silver gelatin photographs. In addition to applying paint to his signature nude series, he has applied paint to his ballerina series, heavily influenced by the painter Degas. Painters have been a major influence in Weston’s photography and Degas is definite influential standout for him.
